Founded in 2005 by Ofer Shapiro, Vidyo offers videoconferencing software solutions either online or installed on a PC. It works with patented, adaptive multi-layer architecture, which not only enables a company to adopt and implement a video solution without carrying out a complete overhaul of the existing network, but also offers high-quality video performance with low latency.

By taking advantage of the new H.264 SVC (scalable video coding) video compression standard, developed predominantly by members of the original team, Vidyo has become a pioneer in the field of personal telepresence, and offers the first platform based on the H.264 SVC standard for the purposes of video collaboration and communication.

Partners since 2007, COMIRIS and Vidyo have defined a process of updating the technical and commercial skills of COMIRIS with VIDYO technology. This is carried out through the transfer of training, organised at regular intervals and provided by the R&D and technical teams.

Each new function or technological development is conveyed by the manufacturer to the COMIRIS teams, to guarantee perfect knowledge of products and full mastery in terms of implementation.
